Aloo Kurma

aloo-kurma Type of Dish: Vegetarian

  • 8 big sized Potato
  • one cup curry leaves
  • mustard
  • red chillies
  • 5 big sized onions
  • green chillies
  • ginger
  • a pinch of RAJBHOG turmeric Powder
  • besan 6 spoons
  • salt
  • oil
  • water

Method of Preparation:

1.  Boil potatoes in salt & then peel off the potatoes & you can smash it or dice it according to your wish.

2.  Now chop onions n take a frying pan & add 6 teaspoons of oil.

3.  Add mustard seeds & allow them to crackle.

4.  Add onions in it & cook them till they are little golden brown. Make sure its not over cooked as we need the sweetness of onions.

5.  Also add Rajbhog TurmericPowder just a pinch is enough and curry leaves & add two big glasses of water6. 

6.  Allow it to boil & add salt for taste.

7. Add potato cubes.

8.  Now in a bowl take 6 large spoons of besan add little water & mix it well, remove the lumps if any. Now add it in the curry & allow it to boil as the curry has to become thick.

9.  After 5 to 10 minutes, Aloo Kurma is ready to serve.
