Moong Dal ki Kadhi

  • 1 ltr buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup moong dal paste
  • 1 1/2 cup boiled mixed veggies (peas, cauliflower, beans, carrot)
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tbsp ginger, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp jeera
  • a pinch of Rajbhog turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp Green chilli chopped salt to taste
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tomato chopped chopped
  • coriander for garnishing

Method of Preparation:

1.  In a heavy bottom degchi, mix dal paste and buttermilk. Put it on gas for cooking. Stir it continuously for 10 min.

2.  Cook kadhi for 1/2 hr on low flame.

3.  Now mix veggies. Cook for another 15 minutes. Prepare tadka with rest of the ingredients.

4.  Mix the tadka with the veggies kadhi. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with steamed rice or u can have it with roti. i 'm sure u will like it.

5.  Now add Rajbhog Turmeric Powder just a pinch to add taste & aroma to the recipe.

Dish is ready to serve.
